I have ignored this site for a long time. We jump from December to April in the blink of an eye. Many things have transpired - mostly good things. My youngest daughter passed through the Hades of inflammatory breast cancer to come out the other side as a survivor. My trip was similar but with fall out since the radiation that I went through did unkind and permanent things to the digestive trac.

With Spring's arrival, the urge to dig in the yard stirs, but the body is still tired and about the time I get good and dirty, it becomes necessary to quit and rest. Frustration is the word of the day,.....nay, season.

The Company I have worked for since 1994 April was sold in January. I am now an independent consultant working for the new owners and make my own hours - nice! The people I work with are a wonderful group.

So we'll see how the Summer goes. I'm still waiting to win the Lottery........
